Subscription Terms
Effective date: June 21, 2026. These Subscription Terms ("Subscription Terms") apply to paid subscriptions for Recriv ("we," "us," or "our"). They supplement our Terms of Service. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to these Subscription Terms.
1. Plans and pricing
Recriv offers the following subscription tiers:
- Free — $0/month. Limited usage quotas as shown on the Pricing page. No payment required.
- Pro — $29.99/month (USD). Expanded usage limits and core premium features.
- Premium — $49.99/month (USD). Highest usage limits, including voice interview features and full company research.
Plan features, limits, and prices are described on our website and may be updated from time to time. Taxes may apply depending on your location and will be shown at checkout where required.
2. Billing and payment
- Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through Stripe, our payment processor.
- You authorize us (via Stripe) to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
- You must provide accurate billing information and keep your payment method current.
- If a payment fails, we may retry the charge, restrict access to paid features, or downgrade your account after a grace period.
3. Upgrades
When you upgrade to a higher tier (for example, Pro to Premium), the change typically takes effect immediately. You may be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing period. Access to upgraded features begins once payment succeeds.
4. Downgrades
When you downgrade to a lower paid tier, the change usually takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Until then, you retain access to your current plan. Usage limits for the new tier apply once the downgrade is effective.
5. Cancellation and renewal
- You may cancel renewal at any time from your Billing page or the Stripe customer portal.
- If you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the paid billing period. You will not be charged again unless you resubscribe.
- After cancellation takes effect, your account reverts to the Free plan (subject to Free tier limits).
- Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless canceled before the renewal date.
6. Refunds
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable except where required by applicable law or explicitly stated in a promotion. If you believe you were charged in error, contact [email protected] within 14 days of the charge.
7. Free trials and promotions
From time to time we may offer free trials or promotional pricing. Additional terms will be shown at signup. At the end of a trial, your payment method may be charged at the standard rate unless you cancel before the trial ends.
8. Usage limits
Each plan includes usage limits (applications, resumes, cover letters, interviews, etc.) per billing period. Limits reset according to your subscription billing cycle. Exceeding limits may require an upgrade or waiting until the next period. Usage limits are described on the Pricing page and in your account.
9. Price changes
We may change subscription prices with reasonable advance notice. Price changes apply to subsequent billing periods. If you do not agree to a price change, you may cancel before the new price takes effect.
10. Account suspension
We may suspend or terminate a paid subscription if you violate our Terms of Service, engage in fraud or abuse, or if required by law or payment network rules. Suspension does not entitle you to a refund unless required by law.
11. Relationship to other policies
These Subscription Terms work together with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy. If there is a conflict, these Subscription Terms govern billing and subscription matters; the Terms of Service govern general use of the Service.
